Defend State Senator Jeff Denham From Recall
CRP Platform Cover Page

In an outrageous move, Democrats are targeting Republican State Senator Jeff Denham for recall because he would not vote for the state budget they supported.

California Republican Chairman Ron Nehring has called upon Republicans around the state to go to the 12th Senate District to walk precincts to defeat this recall.

Nehring said, "YOUR help will be needed to win this election and send a clear signal that the Republican Party will stand by its elected officials when they stand up for balanced budgets and against Democrat tax hikes."

"County Republican chairs and volunteer organization presidents should begin informing their memberships of this important recall election, and that volunteers will be called upon to head to the 12th Senate District in May and June to help with Republican turnout operations."

The recall election is most likely to be set for Tuesday, June 3rd and consolidated with the regular primary election. The 12th Senate District includes portions of Stanislaus, Merced, Madera, San Benito, and Monterey Counties. See the map.

We have a great team of Republican candidates running for Legislature and Congress in the Bay Area. Thanks to those who are taking on this challenge and thanks to those who helped them gather their signatures to qualify. Let's all do our best to support them in their races. Here is a list of our candidates.

The Lincoln Club of Northern California will again host its outstanding weekend workshop for future Republican leaders on April 12-13. "The Anatomy of the Campaign" is a campaign school covering many aspects of campaigning. I encourage current or prospective candidates, campaign staff, or anyone who would benefit from training to consider attending. See the details below.

I want to welcome the Republican Jewish Coalition to the Bay Area for their California Conference in San Francisco. See below under April 4-6.
