Johnny is a 17 year resident of District 10. He and his familly live in Almaden Valley. He started his own company, Western Benefit Solutions, where he is the CEO. Being a proponent of building a thriving small business community in San Jose, Johnny became the chairman of the Small Business Development Commission. He is also the financial advisor and personal manager of over 200 private and business accounts.
“As a financial advisor, I recognize the importance of Measure B for the health of our city. We cannot hope to stop and reverse the erosion of our city’s services with out comprehensive pension reform. Our current system is unsustainable and is at the expense of our quality of life and that of our children. With my experience I can assist City Council in making wise fiscal decisions that will benefit, not hinder or eliminate our core services. Anyone can make budget cuts, but it takes expertise to reduce costs without reducing services. Not only am I the only candidate that has consistently attended City Council meetings to speak in favor of Mayor Reed’s reforms but I am also the only candidate with the expertise and ideas to help create and implement such reforms.”
