Major Marcia Potter

Join the San Mateo County Republican Party for a Four Course Wine Pairing Dinner on Tuesday, November 13th at 6:30 PM. Special Guest will be Major Marcia A. Potter, United States Air Force, who has recently returned from Iraq.

Maj. Potter was deployed to Iraq with the 332nd Expeditionary Medical Support Group, to Balad Air Base. While deployed, she served as the Woman's Health Nurse Practitioner within the area of operations. She is married and the proud mother of three.

Maj Potter stated, "I chose to serve because I believe that freedom must be continually protected and cherished."

The San Mateo County Republican Party is dedicated to supporting the men and women that serve both at home and abroad during this time of war. They are hard at work to ensure that the Republican message of freedom and democracy continues to be heard in their County.

Local Elections - November 6th

San Francisco voters will decide on several City offices plus eleven local ballot propositions. The San Francisco Republican Party has analyzed the propositions and made some recommendations. You can read a discussion of several propositions. The complete voting guide is also available here.

In Santa Clara County, local elections will be held in Cupertino, Gilroy, Los Altos, Palo Alto, Sunnyvale, along with Orchard School District, Palo Alto Unified, Patterson Unified and Cupertino Sanitary District. You can see some recommended Republican candidates here. There are some additional election links on the SVGOP website under November 6.

San Mateo County has a number of city, school, and special district elections on Tuesday. See the Republican Voter Guide on the SMCRP website under November 6.

There are undoubtedly other good Republican candidates running for local office in the Bay Area, and we wish we had their information. Please take time to help them out in the closing days of the campaign.
